simplisafe keypad not working after update

While customers are not told of a solution or fix what weve learned so far is to just leave them alone for about 20 minutes they seem to come back to life on their own you can try taking out the batteries first then re-inserting them then leaving the keypad alone for a short while. If you have trouble with your simplistic keypad not working after putting new batteries in it there is a good chance that the battery has corroded the leads. After that you have to remove the keypad that is not working.
It is highly likely that you have not installed the keypad properly. After 2 or 3 cycles of this the pad finally locked in and I havent had an issue since. If you can we suggest resetting the device and going through the setup again.
